Today you will be using your student website to show your work, so go ahead and open up YOUR WEEBLY ACCOUNT and create a new page and call it GOOGLE. You will submit the url to your webpage to me at the end of this page. You need to be sure and PUBLISH and then go to your website - NOT THE EDITOR - send me the url of the google page on your website. This page should contain all of the information asked for on this page.

Go back to Google maps and "take pictures" at these locations. Upload them to your website and label them with the numbers. If you do not recognize the name of the famous landmark - you may have to do some Googling to help you get to the right place on the map.
#1 Take an aerial shot of the Sydney Opera House. An aerial shot is one that is taken from overhead. Get the whole Opera House in the Photo - but zoom in as close as you can and still get the whole building in the shot. If you don't know what the Sydney Opera House is what should you do? GOOGLE IT!
#2 Go to a large Japanese City and locate a famous American business and take a photo of it. Make sure that you can see the American sign AND other signs in Japanese. It must be obvious that it is an American business in a Japanese city. Type the name of the business and what city in Japan it is next to the photo. There is not just ONE right answer - and I can't tell you where to look. Just to go a BIG CITY in JAPAN and start walking the streets!
Here is an example: 7-11 is the famous American business and it is easy to see lots of Japanese characters.

#7 Go to Six Flags Over Georgia and walk around a bit. Take a photo close up of one of the rides or stores. Extra Credit if you find the Metropolis Park and get a picture of the front of it with Superman.
